Bristol Bay Sportfishing

We’ve fished Alaska, and we know...

...there are certain expectations. World-class fishing? Check. Cool lodge? Got it. Hot tub? Huh, what? OK, Bristol Bay Sportfishing Lodge rises above most others in its accommodations, and that’s just one example.

But you can get great accommodations at the Ritz Carlton, too, so let’s get back to the fishing. Two of Alaska’s most renowned fisheries, the Agulawok and Agulukpak rivers are the lodge’s home waters and provide excellent fishing for rainbow trout, arctic char, grayling and Dolly Varden, as well as one of the largest sockeye salmon runs anywhere in the world.

Not impressed by hot tubs? The lodge also offers fishing at remote camps for all five species of Pacific salmon, rainbow trout, and a prolific run of anadromous Dolly Varden where you can intercept those fish as they’re coming out of the Bering Sea. Those briny fish are hard-charging, crazy fighters that will have your reel screaming and your forearms pumping.
